Garden Center Family Activities and Devotions

In our Garden Center we are seeking to teach three Core Values to your children during their years here at First Church of Christ. These values are God Made Me; God Loves Me; and I Love God.

Each month one of these Core Values is emphasized in a series of lessons revolving around a theme. A memory verse of the month is also emphasized. Listed below are the monthly themes, memory verses, and Core Values. Click on any of the themes to see a list of ideas you can use to build on the weekend lessons.

June 2003 – I Love God Theme: Obeying Memory Verse: Jeremiah 42:6 “We will obey God.”		June 2004 – God Made Me Theme: Families Memory Verse: Joshua 24:15 “My family will serve the Lord.”
July 2003 – God Made Me Theme: Animals Memory Verse: Genesis 1:25 “God made the animals.”		July 2004 – God Made Me Theme: Water Memory Verse: Genesis 1:9 "God said let there be water."
