AMERICAN INDIAN CHRISTIAN MISSION

American Indian Christian Mission is located in Show Low, Arizona. The mission was founded in 1969 working with Navajo and Apache Indians. In 1985 the mission started boarding children. The mission is hoping to eventually have an accredited K-12 Christian Education Program.

Christ in Youth was founded in 1968 to present a contemporary gospel message to youth. Led by volunteer students, CIY conducts rallies and high school assemblies that are filled with drama, music, and dynamic speaking. In 1997, CIY became an innovator in Junior High programming, launching the "Believe" Weekend Conferences, and the "Know Sweat" service projects.

CHRISTIAN CAMPUS HOUSE/TRI-STATE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, INC.

Christian Campus House is located in Angola, Indiana at Tri-State University. Travis Wilhelm is the Director of Campus Ministry. This ministry leads students in evangelizing and discipling the Tri-State University Community. Fellowship meetings, bible studies, prayer meetings, work trips, spring break mission trips, and retreat ventures are part of the campus ministry.

CHRISTIAN CARE COMMUNITIES, INC.

Christian Care Communities is Kentucky’s largest and most diverse not-for-profit social service organization. Founded in Louisville in 1884, they now reach more than 20 communities across the state, but have impact far more. Christian Care Communities has children's homes and group homes throughout the state. First Church is actively involved with the group homes in Northern Kentucky. First Church hosts the Harmony Games each fall for the group home residents in Northern Kentucky.

Fairhaven Rescue Mission exists to help the poor and homeless on the streets of Covington. They provide ministries for women, men and children. HAPPY HILLS CHRISTIAN SERVICE CAMP

Happy Hills Camp is located in the wooded hills of Carrolton, Kentucky. Many lives of children from First Church have been changed for eternity because of a week spent at Happy Hills. Partial and full weeks are offered for children who have completed kindergarten all the way up to seniors in high school. First Church sponsors work retreats in the Fall and Spring. HOPE INNER CITY - TEAM EXPANSION

Hope Inner City was formed in 2005. Jade & Kim Kendall hope to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the inner city areas of Cincinnati and around the US. Their objectives are to strengthen existing inner city churches that exists as part of the Restoration Church Movement and to train people to plant new inner city churches within the Restoration movement.

MOUNTAIN MISSION SCHOOL

Sam Hurley founded Grundy Academy, which later became Mountain Industrial Institute … which is now Mountain Mission School. Mountain Mission School is a home for children located in Grundy, Virginia. Mountain Mission School cares for nearly 300 children from toddlers to age 17. Not only do they exist to offer hope, they exist to offer Christ. First Church collects new clothing in the fall for a Back-to School promotion. Once every 2-3 years, First Church hosts their choir. They are always a delight!

NORTHERN KENTUCKY COMMUNITY ACTION COMMISSION

Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission strengthens families by helping them develop the opportunities, skills and motivations that will lead to economic independence. At the same time, NKCAC provides helps with such temporary assistance as food, shelter, clothing, safety and health. This dual approach enables families to successfully plan and work toward a strong future. There are 8 locations in Northern Kentucky. First Church helps the Florence location through the "Mountain of Food" ministry. In the fall, First Church collects food for four weeks. ORCHARD GROUP CHURCH PLANTING

Orchard Group, formerly "Go Ye" Chapel Mission, plants new Churches in New York. Presently, First Church is in partnership with the Antioch Project. This Church is in Port Chester, NY, a northern borough of New York City. Port Chester is a great place to meet Brazilians. Claudio Divino is the Pastor of this Portuguese speaking Church. During 2005 Orchard Group helped a total of 13 new churches through service on management teams, administrative services, and/or direct church planting support. The 10 new churches started in the Northeast between 2000-2005 are averaging over 3,000 in attendance, cumulatively.

PINEHAVEN CHRISTIAN CHILDREN'S HOME & SCHOOL

Pinehaven is an 1100 acre ranch and school in Western Montana about 100 miles south of Glacier National Park. Since 1976 Pinehaven has been successfully caring for children (any age through high school) who need an alternate living situation.

WATERMARK COMMUNITY CHURCH

Watermark Community Church is a new Church planted in Kenton County in 2004. The lead Pastor is Chad Caddell. Chad left the Worship Ministries position at First Church to plant this new Church, which is now meeting at Dixie High School.

WEEKDAY SCHOOL OF RELIGION

Did you know that the State of Kentucky allows students to leave school for one hour per day for religious instruction? The Weekday School of Religion is in Covington and offers Sunday School type lessons for elementary children in the inner city. YOUNG LIFE OF NORTHERN KENTUCKY

Young Life is another ministry at our local high schools. They have club meetings at school and offer retreats and summer camps. Some of our students serve as counselors at camp. If you want to know more about Young Life or if you want to volunteer for one of their clubs, call 859-384-6113.
