The Cincinnati Christian University (CCU) is only 20 minutes from First Church. With CCU being so close you could easily take a class for credit or audit. L.D. Campbell, Tommy Baker, Rick Shonkwiler, Brian Heckber, Mark Graham and Darin Mirante have received Degrees from CCU.

GHANA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY - AFRICAN MISSION EVANGELISM, INC.

African Mission Evangelism is a non-profit organization of the Christian churches & churches of Christ. Our mission is to establish a premier Christian college in Ghana for the purpose of educating West Africans in Christian doctrine. Ghana Christian University is the vehicle in which AME, Inc. carries out the mission. GCU was established in 1966 by a group of American missionaries with the blessing of representative Christian churches in the U.S. Their goal was to establish an institution that used the ideals of the Restoration Movement to teach Christ without denominational dogma to indigenous church leaders. David & Barbara Kalb are the missionaries in Africa.

KENTUCKY CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY

Kentucky Christian University (KCU) ) is located on I-64 in Grayson, Kentucky. It is half way between Morehead and Ashland. Tommy Baker and Phil Haas are Alumnus of Kentucky Christian University. KCU is also the home of "Summer In The Son".

MILLIGAN COLLEGE

Milligan College is located in Elizabethton, TN (Tri-Cities, TN-VA). Milligan offers students a Christian liberal arts education in a community of inquiry, responsibility, and caring. NORTH AMERICAN CHRISTIAN CONVENTION

The North American Christian Convention is an annual gathering of Christians for worship, preaching, teaching, fellowship, and networking. The NACC began in 1927 as a convention for vocational Christian leaders. Since the 1960s, the NACC has been an annual four-day summer convention attracting many vocational and non-vocational Christian leaders and their families. In recent years, the convention has drawn approximately 10,000-15,000 people.

TCM INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE

Since 1963 TCM International Institute has been serving Christians in Eastern Europe. 1971 TCM’s Board of Directors agreed to purchase Haus Edelweiss near Vienna, Austria. Another dimension was added to the benevolence and encouragement ministry in 1982: Leadership Training. In 1991, Dr. Tony Twist, second President of TCM International, Inc., established the “Institute for Biblical Studies” (now TCM International Institute). The Institute is designed to provide graduate-level study for pastors and church leaders. When a student completes the required classes, he/she receives an accredited Master of Arts degree in Practical Ministry in conjunction with Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. All of the required classes are taught at Haus Edelweiss within a two-year period. Some of the classes are taught at TCM teaching sites and other locations in Eastern Europe. The Institute is an instrument by which TCM is fulfilling the mission of preparing Eastern European and Central Asian Christians for Christian leadership so that they may reach their own people for Jesus Christ.
