Women's Ministry

To encourage women to know and love God and to equip them for ministry to others.

Women's Retreat

April 25-26, 2008
Higher Ground Conference Center
West Harrison, Indiana

Women’s Retreat is an overnight get-away of fun, inspiration and relaxation in a beautiful setting.  All women are invited to come share in this exciting weekend!

Guest Speaker - Alice Craig

Alice Craig began Artistic Memories by Alice doing portraits of children and homes. But after the death of her infant daughter Grace in 1996, God has given Alice a twofold desire: 1) to use her artwork to bring comfort to parents who have experienced the loss of a child and 2) to encourage, challenge and inspire women to become women that love God with all their hearts.
She displays her artwork in convention-type settings from MOPS to Hearts at Home, with each trip providing a challenge in ministering to the hearts of women in need.
Through some very difficult periods in her life, God has redirected Alice’s focus from drawing solely for creative pleasure and “sanity therapy” to that of ministry and encouragement. The Lord is also using this same art in conjunction with public speaking to further encourage, challenge, motivate and inspire women to become the masterpieces—uniquely and wonderfully made as God intends.

Morning of Praise

Patti Foster
Guest Speaker

Patti Foster’s life is a testament to the intense love she feels for others. Her job and laughter refreshes those around her, and she welcomes opportunities to influence lives and make a difference.

Patti was the morning show host on an inspirational Christian radio station in Indiana and in Texas. Patti’s radio career provided opportunities that led her into becoming a full-time speaker. She travels nation-wide speaking to church and corporate organizations of all sizes.

In 2002, Patti was severely injured in a horrific traffic accident. She suffered severe head trauma and was in a coma for six weeks. Her life hung in the balance. She has had to learn to live again. And now, as her restoration process continues. Patti’s desire is to inspire, encourage and motivate women.
